Lam Duan Nueayang is a very famous traditional BBQ restaurant in Bangkok. According to its name “Nueayang” which is similar to my blog’s name, the beef barbeque. Lam Duan Nueayang is a Thai northeast’s cuisine or we also called “Esan’s food” which is a local food in the northeast region of Thailand. Esan food is less common outside of Thailand but inside the country, it can be found everywhere since Esan’s population is about 30 percent of the country population and it is very popular and become dominance in Thai cuisine. For example, Somtam, a green papaya salad, can be considered as one of the world popular Esan’s dish.
Back to the restaurant, Lam Duan Nueayang is very famous for its Thai northeast style of beef barbeque set. When you ordered the set, the restaurant will provide a pile of raw and red local beef and a chunk of butter on the hot plate. The butter will quickly melt and sizzle on the hot plate and soaked the meat on the plate. The meat then become overwhelmingly satisfying to the taste buds that you cannot deny. Also, you can order the Beef-shank refill by choosing a different cut of beef as your preference. The beef here is very tender and the texture is bouncy and crunchy.

As the restaurant is an Esan restaurant, they also have other Esan dishes such as Somtam, Tom Sab Nuea Lai (Thai spicy beef soup), Larb (ground meat in a mixture of lime juice, fish sauce, herbs and spice and Nam tok (similar to Larb but with a sliced grilled meat)
